Abstract

The crop coefficient (kc) values worked out for finger millet and Groundnut under Tirupati conditions were less than 1.0 for all four stages of crop growth. For rice, the kc values were more than 1.0 during all the four stages of crop growth. The water requirements for rice was maximum in third and fourth growth stages due to high kc value
